No Sleep Till Brooklyn

And we're home... Pittsburgh was a blast as usual and go, go, go the moment we were picked up from the airport. My family is large and I like to see everyone plus one. More so, it's important for Georgie to get to know her family and learn how to interact around large groups of people since it's mainly her and I all day. I love that she's a mama's girl but...well you know what I mean.

We were picked up from the airport by my mom and grandma and then headed to Bravo for lunch. After lunch, we went to the mall (which I haven't been to since high school) because my intention was to get her ears pierced but I totally chickened out. Instead, I bought a dress for Ray's brothers wedding. Later that night, my two cousins, Rachel and Mimi and my niece, Sarah came over for dinner and a sleepover (too bad I was in bed at 8pm). They're all so sweet.

Friday morning, my mom scheduled pedicures followed by lunch with my bff Cathy and her son and boyfriend. We went to Eat n Park which again, I haven't been to since high school but their cookies still taste the same! Later that day, we picked up my grandma and packed up the car and headed to the lake house to meet my dad, Troy, Connie, and the kids. It was so sweet to see Georgie interact with her adorable cousins.

Saturday morning was a nice run around the lake with breakfast afterwards. All my nieces came up later that day and slept over. We played a few rounds of 'corn hole' which I'm really not good at but my brother, Troy rocked it and thankfully was my teammate.

Sunday morning was the same set up but instead of corn hole, we went on a boat ride around the lake with just the girls. Georgie loved every minute of it while I caught some rays. Later that night, we headed back to the farm house for dinner and my Aunt Patty, her husband, my bff April and her daughter, my brother Chris and my nieces all came over.

Monday morning my mom did my hair and I packed up to head home and see my husband on our one year anniversary. The year flew by and was filled with nothing but sweet memories.

All in all, it was a successful trip in getting to see everyone in such a short time frame! Glad to be back in BK with 'my' family (after a year, it's still strange saying that but a good strange.)
